WEEM 1113 wide sanding belt is a high-performance solution designed for brushing of stainless steel. Constructed with premium silicon carbide grains, resin-over-resin bonding, and a high-strength waterproof polyester backing, it ensures superior durability, surface quality, and dimensional stability under both wet and dry grinding conditions. Stocked in jumbo width up to 1630 mm (64”), suitable for conversion into wide belts up to 1600 mm.

Description:

WEEM 1113 is engineered for stainless steel surface finishing, featuring a specially treated abrasive face for uniform brush lines. Compared to WEEM 1112, this version uses a thicker, stiffer polyester backing to withstand greater pressure and impact during heavy-duty grinding.

Only premium-grade silicon carbide is selected, known for its extremely sharp crystalline structure that delivers fine, straight-edged scratch patterns. It cuts efficiently even under light pressure and is ideal for non-ferrous metals, wood, glass, rubber, plastics, and for finishing coatings, primers, lacquers, and polyurethanes. A closed-coat grain layout ensures maximum grain density, increasing stock removal rate, prolonging service life, and producing a smoother finish.
